Jonas Turns One!

Jonas has been an absolute joy to see grow during his first year here on Earth. We were so thrilled to capture his first birthday, complete with rainbow details (including the most AMAZING cake!), cute pendants, and Michelle’s beautiful handmade felt flowers! We couldn’t get enough of them – and if you are as infatuated as we are, we can put you in touch with Michelle! They would be fabulous in a wedding, don’t you think?!

Jonas also had the Looking Glass at his party, which was a fun and unique way to capture some family fotos! While we had a blast celebrating his birthday, it was bittersweet knowing our Baby Plan with Jonas was coming to an end. Thankfully we’re all friends so we know this won’t be the last time we’ll photograph these cute cheeks!

Cooper’s First Birthday!

It’s hard to believe that a YEAR has gone by since we first met Cooper. From the tiny newborn, to the little man he is now, Cooper and Co. have been such a pleasure to photograph (you can see the previous sessions: newby, three, six, and nine months). To celebrate his first birthday, the Wallaces invited family and close friends to a pool party, complete with plenty of snacks, smiles, and a delicious cupcake for Cooper! Hopefully this will not be the last time they grace the space in front of our cameras!

He’s baaaa-aaack: Jonas is 9 months old!

As you guys already know, our love for Jonas and his parents Chris & Michelle goes to the moon and back. Following this kiddo through this first year has been the biggest treat, and watching his burgeoning Star Wars fandom has been one of the best parts — check out that blue lightsaber! Not even Obi-Wan Kenobi wielded his own blue saber with such a degree of awesomeness, amIright?!

Park Picnics & Gelato Smiles with Cooper and Family!

We knew in the beginning we’d LOVE all of our sessions throughout the year with the adorable Cooper! Like many of our clients, we often find our paths crossing from “business” to friendship. Amanda and Joe were two of the masterminds behind a group my (Ashley) husband and I are a part of – Friends of Five Points. Between the cookouts, dinner parties, and meetings, it’s thrilling to also capture this family’s growth! Soon enough we’ll be witnessing Cooper man turn ONE – wow how time flies! For now we are smitten with him at nine months!

Jonas: six months of being AWESOME

First thing’s first: rabbit rabbit!!

Ok, so you’ve seen Jonas as a newborn, and Jonas as a three month old, but you’ve never seen Jonas quite like this: in all his amazing six-month-old glory. This kid and his fam are true gems. We five had the sweetest time walking around outside, pausing for a few snaps, and then witnessing Jonas try peas for the first time! It’s been a true pleasure watching this little dude grow!
