We’ve been following little Cooper around since he was a newborn and again when he turned three months old, so we were of course very stoked to discover what he’s like at six months. As you will see, the best word to use is ABSOLUTELYFREAKINGADORABLE! We are totally in love with this guy and his family — they’re the best!

Each time we see Jonas, I’m always biting my tongue to keep the words from “My Name is Jonas” by Weezer inside! While I doubt I’m the only one who has the song immediately leap to their mind, it’s a pretty awesome one to share a name with.

We met Jonas, Chris, and Michelle (plus Chris’s sister and Jonas’s cousin!) at Lowe Mill for his three month session. We thought this would be appropriate to blog today, being Christmas Eve and all, since Jonas was proudly donning both a Star Wars shirt (…which really has nothing at all to do with Christmas, but roll with it!) and a “Baby’s First Christmas” Santa Hat. Between discussing elf outfits for little kids with Michelle (verdict: SO CUTE!) and giggling over Jonas’s every facial expression, I think we would all call this session a success!

Also: you can read Dana’s post about the session here!

Emilie and her mother asked us about shooting her high school senior photos, and we were naturally happy to do so! High school is such a unique time in the lives of many American teens, and we think a portrait session is the perfect way to document all that it includes.

Emilie was a dream to work with — talk about nailing a session! We love the photos and hope you will as well.

Remember Cooper’s super cute newborn session? Well, this big guy is already three months old, and we met with him & his beautiful family a few weeks ago to help celebrate the occasion. We began the session at their home, and then moseyed over to one of our favorite local coffee haunts, Olde Towne Coffee. Mmm!

Ooh, Luca! We are simply in love with this little boy! Ashley and I were lucky enough to get to meet him a few months ago when he was 8 weeks old, and we had a delightful time with him and his parents. Luca was a dream — he spent some time awake with us, so we could catch a glimpse of his sweet little eyes, and also some time sleeping, so we could capture that, also!

We met this family at their home, which was the perfect setting for their session. That amazing swing you see in the photos is in their front yard! Everything from the teeny-tiny shoes to the abundance of love and happiness made this session a true joy to shoot.
