We are super excited to announce that we now have a first floor studio space at Lowe Mill! We welcome you to join us for our Grand Opening this coming Saturday (February 12th)! You can find us at 2211 Seminole Drive (here’s a map) – and we are in studio 110, where the light shines bright and make our hearts happy with delight!

Speaking of hearts: In the spirit of Valentine’s day, we’ll have an appropriately themed photo booth set up, so come steal a kiss and snap a pic with your loved one! For double the fun, prints will be available on the spot!

Sha-bang! It really is the year of the rabbit! Stephanie and I knew going into this business we didn’t want to stop at photography. Weddings and life events are so spectacular that we want to absorb every moment with you. To make this happen we present you three more (for now) options of how we can do just that:

DJ services: obviously, we like love music. We know when music nerds get married they want the best – so we are here to deliver! While we have a massive collection of digital files available, our vinyl collection is quite the lead runner. That’s right, we can do it analog style! Whether from our stax o’ wax or yours, we can spin ‘em while you dance/live/love the night or day away!

Videography: there to capture the emotions of the day. While we certainly love a good freeze framed moment in time, sometimes you just have to re-live that last dance sing-a-long with audio. Plus, how fun would it be to have a personalized music video from your wedding day? Want to capture that first birthday on camera (but also want to be in the video)? These ideas and more can come alive again and again on a screen near you!

Custom Design: we’re head over heels for our new letterpress invite option! So much so that at the Hi-Fi Weddings Fest we’ll be giving away a invite suite to a lucky couple…just come by our booth and say hello! From invites to websites to any paper or screen between – we can make it look good!

On a different, but still exciting, note we are pleased to introduce a new name to this crazy world of wedding biz: Hi-Fi Weddings! This idea came about last year, but was a fleeting one…at first. Upon more thought and research (and dreams), I knew something was pulling me to start it. Hi-Fi Weddings will be a blog and inspiration source for brides and grooms to share and gather information about songs at weddings. While we will welcome music of all sorts, we’d like to really spotlight couples that really spend time and focus on the music for Their Big Day. I know that’s what I (Ashley) did! I spent weeks upon weeks compiling our playlist. And although blogs weren’t really around as much in 2006, I still haven’t found one that is solely dedicating to music – until now! Voila! Since we’re so pumped about launching our business and the new blog, we’re offering ALL new customers 10% off either a portrait session OR a wedding package, as long as they’re booked on or by December 31, 2009. The sessions and/or weddings do NOT have to take place before Dec. 31, but they must be booked.
