Tara and Tyler are the cutest! The first part of their lovely engagement session had me giggling with them in the aisles of Booklegger. These two make for the most adorable bookworms, don’t you agree? After swooning in the romance section, we all made our way to Monte Sano Mountain. With such incredible weather and Tara and Tyler’s natural love for each other this was a picture perfect day of bliss!

Aundrea and Alex met years ago while at Camp Neyati. Wanting to harness their love for each other, the outdoors, and to play homage to their “meetin’ grounds” we shot their engagement session at the camp. We adore the fact they have such a unique and personal spot that holds such strong memories. The smell of the pine trees, the canoes, the rustic cabins (and the squeaky doors) brought back a wave of nostalgia to us all and our own camp experiences. These two flirted, snuggled, and laughed while our cameras fired away.

Anna and Ben both have extremely uplifting personalities (as you can recall from their e-session photos), which made for a wedding day full of huge smiles and lots of laughter. Their ceremony took place in their church, and the reception was held at one of our FAVORITE places to shoot – The Lumberyard. If you’re looking for an eclectic and eccentric place to exchange vows or dance the night away, look no further! From the thumb print wedding tree to the mix cd favor, Ben and Anna’s beautiful wedding had so many wonderful and personal touches…and I (Ashley) couldn’t get enough of her bright green shoes!

I thought it would be fun to animate their first look!

Tyler and Matthew were married at one of our fave local venues, The Summit at Big Spring. We have all been friends for a few months, since we first met at our meeting and fell mutually in love, and hope to be friends with this pair for many, many years to come!

Everything about their wedding day was, as Tyler put it, “ridiculously colorful and fantastic” — right up our alley! We nearly passed out when we walked in and discovered, to our great delight, that Tyler and her gaggle of amazing bridesmaids had spent most of their time folding incredibly delicate and oh-so-magical paper cranes, which were strung from the windows of the building and set out on tables as centerpieces. These incredible DIY touches weren’t the only ones — Tyler blogged two great DIY posts on her blog: decorations & accents, and modern photo booth. Now onto the fantabulous wedding where the color and smiles never stopped!

Their vows were so insanely cute that a gif is in order!

Since this Looking Glass was one of the most rockin’, we decided to make a fun video!

Steve and Savannah’s engagement session had a nice combination of some of our favorites elements: music, pets, and love! We started at Vertical House Records before dodging cars and jumping fences to a nice spot by the willow trees in the Jones Valley area. Steve and Savannah wanted to include their dog, and with such a cute bow-tie how could we resist?!
