If ever there were to be a sweet Southern celebration of love, this is it! MarLa and Sager’s historic Mooresville wedding was right out of a movie! Thankfully, Dustin and I were able to capture their love story through both video and still images. Matt (the WRS DJ) was also part of their day, spinning their favorite tunes on vinyl. From the perfect weather, to the charming brick church, to the delicate details – the elements of the day complimented the love and romance between MarLa and Sager beautifully.

A few of my favorite memories from the day were the whispered “I love you’s” MarLa and Sager exchanged in between kisses, their cake topper, all of the desserts, MarLa’s cute cry coming down the aisle (which made me cry, of course), their ceremony tree sapling (with a jar of dirt and water from each of their hometowns), the romantically-casual portraits, the finger moustaches!, MarLa’s delicate dress, succulents!, bow ties, cotton boutonni√®res, mismatched bridesmaids dresses, their wedding quilt/guest book, and the sweet glances and dreamy eyes these two made at each other!

Be sure to watch the video after the photos to see the full e-motion of their day!

You can also read more about their story and wedding planning decisions on Pottery Barn’s blog! Also thanks to Southern Weddings for featuring their dessert table.
