Mary & Dustin: Bottletree Cafe Engagement

I must say that this is probably a record for me, blogging wise. Andy and I traveled to Birmingham on Monday to meet Mary and Drew for their engagement session – here it is Friday and voila! You’ll see though that this session is right up my alley so it’s no wonder I wanted to get it out there asap! When we first started talking, Mary mentioned she and Drew wanted to shoot at a “quintessential” Birmingham location. Bottletree Cafe was at the top of both of our lists, so it was a no-brainer! The kind folks happily opened their doors on Monday afternoon and we had the entire place to ourselves. Mary and I both commented how it was weird to be there without a band adorning the stage, surrounded by friends. From the eclectic decor, to the adorable airstreams, Mary and Drew fell into each others arms effortlessly.

We also wanted to take advantage of this time of year by shooting at a Pine Hill Tree Farms! It provided a serene backdrop and a place to cut loose. I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding in March (the day after my birthday!)…I could photograph these two all day, everyday!
