Everything about Mary and Jonathan’s wedding was breathtaking! From the stunning interior of the Historic Rucker Place, to the ethereal flowers, to the classy bride and groom – we were like kids in a candy store shooting this wedding! Mary and Jonathan worked with some of our favorite vendors to help their wedding visions come to life. Rachel, of Benign Objects, created the beautiful invitations (which were printed at our beloved Green Pea Press) and Stephanie Drake, of Proper Measures, brought the hot air balloon theme to life with her creative touch…and we can’t forget about the delicious desserts made by Will!

We were also thrilled that our cinematographer, Dustin, was there with us to capture the entire flow of the day! Mary and Jonathan’s wedding video makes us swoon with happiness! Be sure to hit play after you peruse the still images, the video is posted at the end.

White Rabbit Studios also provided the DJ services! With a mix of vinyl and digital favorites, Zach kept the energy lively on the dance floor in between sweet slow dances. From classics like Nancy Sinatra and Otis Redding to current indie favorites like Beach House and Edward Sharpe, the music created the perfect soundtrack to Mary and Jonathan’s special day.

You can recall from Stacy and Zach’s engagement session that we have a BLAST photographing these two. Their wedding was nothing short of amazing, and we were thrilled to be a part of their celebration. Even though we’ve already shared Madeline and Coby’s Mooresville session, Zach and Stacy’s wedding was actually our first time shooting there. We fell in love with the historic tiny town and all of the rustic nooks and crannies that make it so appealing. The ceremony took place in the Mooresville Brick Church, which was built circa 1839! The reception was a happy walk down the street at the Limestone Bay Trading Co. From the bright fall decor, to the non-stop laughter, to dessert table with an array of pies and cakes, Stacy and Zach’s wedding day was simply magical!

Ever since shooting Ben and Anna’s wedding, we’ve anxiously been awaiting another wedding at The Lumberyard. It has quickly grown into one of our favorite Huntsville venues. With it’s already unique decor, Jamie and Eric’s personalized touches just added to the flair of the place. From the sweet ceremony to the crazy dance party, there were smiles all over the place as Jamie and Eric celebrated their love for each other among family and friends.

When we first arrived at Burritt on the morning of Jennifer and Anthony’s wedding, it was a sight to behold. The fog had engulfed the mountaintop park and created a magical wonderland. Unfortunately, the rain was with the fog, which meant plans had to change for their outdoor wedding. To ensure everyone stayed dry, the chapel was transformed into a cozy haven for these two love birds to exchange their vows. Jennifer and Anthony didn’t let the rain ruin their party, and celebrated their love with dancing, laughter, and merriment!

Coral and Bartley‘s wedding was going to happen no matter what. Throughout the day these two love birds were thrown so many curve balls, yet they always had smiles on their faces. After all, the most important thing was going to happen – they were getting married.

Their original wedding site, the Guntersville State Lodge, suffered extensive damage from the recent outbreak of tornadoes across the southern US. Coral and Bartley had to basically re-coordinate and re-plan a wedding for over 100 people in a week. The Botanical Gardens were literally the only place that could host their accommodations. With three additional weddings that day, the gardens were certainly busy! Even though the day threatened rain, the skies held their showers and allowed for Coral and Bartley’s wedding to blossom like a flower…and that it certainly did!
