Anthropologie, eat your heart out!

Have you heard of Huntsville’s newest and cutest shop, The Switch House? It’s basically the most perfect place in the city. Imagine walking in Etsy in REAL LIFE, and then you might get close to what The Switch House is like. To top it off, everything is local and organically made. From candles, to bath products, to pet treats, to one-of-a-kind art, to fresh bread, to whimsical wear, The Switch House has something for everyone!

The Looking Glass has struck again! When Ashley first mentioned booking the photo booth for her birthday party, we knew we would have a seriously unique and fun experience. I’m not sure EITHER of us knew just how fun it would be, but the photos more than illustrate the point.

Chrissy and Shay were married in October, and had an awesomely beautiful outdoor wedding & indoor reception at Cherokee Ridge in Union Grove, Alabama. Everything from the weather to the infectious joy of the ADORABLE flower girl and ring bearer (scroll down to see those two literally running up the aisle!) was completely incredible.

DETAILS:

Dress: David’s Bridal
Tuxes: Birch and Hatfield
Venue: Cherokee Ridge
Centerpieces: designed by the bride and put together by the hostesses!

Steph and I are still buzzing like busy bees! Today we are shooting a fabulous wedding, full of amazing details! Since it’s Halloween we thought it would be fun to show off some of the costumed cuties from our mini-sessions! We had a blast with each kid – a few you might even recognize – the pirate, Hugh, and the princess (Nyoka) and dragon (Wesley). It was wonderful meeting Miss Abbi (the fairy) and her parents, who said wonderful praises about White Rabbit Studios – which warms our hearts on these chilly nights.

We couldn’t resist turning Wesley’s peek-a-boo into a mini movie!

And who remembers how fun this was as a kid?!

OOH, Fall! How we love you!!

The autumn leaves at Green Mountain were the perfect backdrop for Erin and Jonathan’s recent engagement session. The pair of lovebirds were completely at home and relaxed at the spot, even though they had never visited before. We loved getting to know them, and want to send a special shout-out to Erin’s photography class at Grissom! :)

These two are toying around with the idea of running away together somewhere exotic and fun to get hitched, but we will be seeing Erin again in the future for her bridal session!
