Rebecca and Kreg’s Halloween Shindig | Birmingham, AL Wedding Photography

Rebecca and Kreg had an absolutely sweeping wedding on October 31 at The Sonnet House in Leeds, Alabama. It was our first time visiting this venue, (and our first time working with the totally awesome and brilliant style and design team at Proper Measures*!). We loved all of the elements — everything from wonderful fall decor (dare we say wonderFALL?! ;D), the dessert bar, and the attention to unique details was stunning. The gorgeous sunset wedding was followed by delicious food, plenty of dancing, photo booth action, s’mores by an open fire, and a romantic ride off in a vintage car!

*We’re also stoked that Proper Measures will be joining us as a vendor at our Wedding Fair (coming up in January!)

Megan & Brent’s Wonderful Workplay Wedding | Birmingham Wedding Photographers

As we pulled into Birmingham exactly one month ago and saw the Workplay Theatre and the fabulous urban walls around the area, we knew this would be a wonderful wedding before even stepping foot in the door. And seeing the smiley, happy faces of Brent and Megan on their wedding day just added to our excitement. The happy couple rented a limo so we could go to various places around Birmingham to get even more fun photos! We drove by Renaissance Records and knew it would be a perfect spot for some smoochy shots in the cozy store.

Megan and Brent had a lot of sweet touches and DIY projects (including a cupcake tree!) and we loved that they wrote their own vows. For favors they handed out tiny plants! I love being able to watch my plant and know that it’s growing just like their love! It was wonderful being a part of their intimate affair and getting to capture such sweet memories! We wish them a Happy One Month Anniversary!

Wedding: Sara & Jeremy | Birmingham, AL Wedding Photography

We shot Sara and Jeremy’s fantastic record store engagement session a few weeks ago and have been looking forward to their wedding ever since! I don’t think Ashley and I could have dreamed up all of the great details these two put into their day! It was truly a day filled with wonder, beauty, and love. We’re so incredibly happy for these two as they begin their life together.

Sara’s dad owns a typewriter store, so they had their pick of the lot! Guests filled up sheet after sheet of paper with good wishes.

Ashley and I were restricted to the balcony during the wedding–however, between us we have plenty of zoom lenses, and were able to get super close without physically being so. In the first you can see about how far away we were, and in the second, how close we can get!
