We met up with Tim and Rachel in downtown Huntsville on a Sunday evening — the absolute PERFECT time to be there! Since just about everything’s closed at that time, hardly anyone was around. We had free reign to watch these two cutify the city and capture a bit of it as well. Tim and Rachel came to us via Chris and Michelle (the parents of Jonas!), and we’re glad they did — these two have some amazing chemistry!

When Stacy proposed the idea of shooting at the Mountaintop Flea Market and at Zach’s Grandmother’s barn, we were thrilled! We’re both avid flea market fans, and loved the idea of shooting at the barn for all of the historical significance to Zach’s family. One of the rooms in the barn was his dad and uncle’s old hang-out spot — you could still see remnants of their younger years there.

Everything from the bright yellow brick buildings to the gorgeous sun streaming through the barn was perfect. The contagious smiles, good humor and love these share made this session a breeze!

Ashley and David were married at Burritt on the Mountain (oh, how we LOVE this venue!) a few weeks ago — specifically, on the night of the very famed “supermoon!” Being the big fans of both love and the moon that we are, we were naturally totally stoked to be involved with their day.

Everything, from the gorgeous cherry blossoms to the beautiful weather, was total perfection. These two are clearly meant to be, and being there for the wedding day ride with their family and friends was a treat.

I wished on the stars
To throw me a beam or two
I begged on the stars
And asked for a dream or two
I looked for every loveliness
It all came true
I wished on the moon for you

Brandy searched for Billie Holiday’s version of “I Wished on the Moon” for months in hopes to play it as she walked down the aisle. The week of the wedding, she won a 78 copy of the song on ebay. Talk about meant to be! The romantic song echoed among the trees of their intimate, nighttime, backyard wedding as Brandy and Michael tied the knot. After a short and sweet ceremony, yummy food, delicious cake, humorous and tearful toasts, the guests enjoyed an evening of dancing under the stars with Christabel and the Jons (a swanky swing group from Tennessee).

Michael and Brandy had a vision for their wedding since day one. In love with the 30s, Brandy requested the wedding photos to be processed with a vintage, sepia tone. To keep the nostalgia from the night, we wanted to include the song that inspired the wedding. Push play while you scroll through and re-live their starlit soiree!

While we love the romantic vibe from the sepia images, we can’t help but show you some of the lovely color that poured from the details!

Chrissy and Shay were married in October, and had an awesomely beautiful outdoor wedding & indoor reception at Cherokee Ridge in Union Grove, Alabama. Everything from the weather to the infectious joy of the ADORABLE flower girl and ring bearer (scroll down to see those two literally running up the aisle!) was completely incredible.
