Seth and Whitney were married almost exactly a month ago at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Together with their absolutely fantastic (and hilarious!) family members they celebrated their wedding day with true joy and serenity — it was a stunning day. You may notice that these two lovebirds are getting ready to become a trio: they’re expecting their daughter, Elle, later this year!

Oh, and if you’re wondering — that chocolate cake was every bit as delicious as it looks!

Anna and Ben are one of the sweetest, happiest couples! They rolled with every suggestion we made at their engagement session, which happened to take place on a VERY wild and unruly day. Anna was a champ when the wind blew her hair around! These two have a natural chemistry and excitement that’s contagious — our cheeks were hurting from smiling so much!

Candice had us meet her and her family at their 200-acre farm near Lacey’s Spring — and we are SO incredibly glad she did! The countryside drive was definitely worth it, as these photos were truly part of a unique experience. Her friends and family were so welcoming and we had a wonderful time meeting all of the horses! Candice was joined at her session by quite a few family horses, including Sugar Magnolia (yep, she’s named after the song!). Sugar and Candice are life-long friends (literally: they’re the same age), so we were honored to be able to capture their bond.

We also loved that Candice’s dress was a hand-made custom design! She gave the designer elements and ideas she wanted to incorporate (like a removable bottom piece that allowed for a shorter dress!) and it all came together SO beautifully, don’t you agree?!

Dylan is one of the spunkiest two-year-olds around — she had us on our toes (in a good way!) most of the session. We spent the afternoon sniffing flowers, playing peek-a-boo, and chasing the sunlight! She was accompanied by three-week-old kittens, which made our time together all the more sweeter.

side note: the kittens are totally going to be ready for new homes soon! If you’re interested, let us know and we’ll get you in contact with the family.

I (Stephanie) spent a few hours on Monday at UAHuntsville hanging out with mascot Charger Blue and some students. This week has been Homecoming at UAH, and they inquired about our Looking Glass photo booth to bring the fun on Monday! The best part was that UAH also opted for on-site printing, so everyone received a copy of their photo at the event, and were subsequently quite amused.
