Frances and Josh were married in November 2008, and this was actually the first wedding we ever shot together — granted, this was before White Rabbit Studios, or even the idea of it, existed, but we worked together nonetheless! So these two, and now their beautiful little girl, Anna Rose, hold a special place in our photography hearts!

We met the trio at the home of Josh’s grand-parents, who happily let us have the run of the place. There’s really nothing quite like having several generations of a family together, and we were thrilled to be able to capture this particular phase of Anna Rose’s life for her family.

White Rabbit Studios wants to wish you a happy Valentine’s Day! And while we really think love should be celebrated each and every moment, it’s always nice to have an entire day dedicated to something so wonderful. We have compiled a lovely mix of songs for you to have throughout the day – and not just for Valentine’s Day, but for whenever you need a pick-me-up!

We were SO incredibly excited to wake up January 8 to a world filled with snow! Of course, we were delighted because snow is beautiful, but super excited because we knew that our bride of the day, Adrienne, was hoping for a truly white wedding. As you know, we’re in Alabama, so the odds were stacked against the South Dakota native. However, the snow came through for her, and we took full advantage of all of its splendor–as you can see, the snow bled its way into quite a bit of the post-processing! Sammy and Adrienne’s romantic wedding ended as a dance party among friends and family. Our personal friends were the DJs (Travis and David, whom are available if you’re interested in real music – and not the chicken dance – at your wedding) and they kept the good tunes spinning…that’s right, with real records! Sing alongs, dance offs, celebratory cigars, and lots of love warmed the hearts on this snowy Alabama evening here in the Rocket City.

snow & a ladybug! how lucky!

There are not enough words to describe how fantastically funny Adrienne and her ladies are! They braved the chilly temperatures to take photos for us, and I think they ended up having a good time.

We weren’t allowed to get too close during the ceremony, but our vantage point was a beautiful one–look at the candles! The dimly lit sanctuary at Good Shepherd Catholic Church glowed with the love shared between these two.
